The Association was created with one purpose in mind – to provide aid and assistance to disabled and indigent members and their families, and to promote the welfare of the Fire service.
We treat our fellow members like family, and lend a helping hand when possible
Our organization provides our members and their families with financial assistance, in times of illness or hardship or borrowing medical equipment, such as wheel chairs, mobile scooters, and walkers. We also provide emotional support to our members, including those that are dealing with a death or disability.

We are here to help! Every year we provide members and their families with financial assistance when they are dealing with illness or financial hardship in their life. We provide aid by lending medical equipment, including wheelchairs, mobile scooters, walkers and more. We even provide assistance for corrective lenses, and funeral services.

Who Are We?
With members across the country, our membership consists of current or Exempt members that served in the Valley Stream Fire Department. The Association was created with one purpose in mind – to provide aid and assistance to disabled and indigent members and their families, and to promote the welfare of the Fire service.
